We decided to take this concept to the ‘meta-level’ and apply it back to the increasingly tangled world of design. Magnetic set about a mission to demystify the unintelligible, unscramble acronyms and cut through the never-ending lexicon of design jargon. This would go on to be our Christmas gift to clients.
The final product was a comprehensive and beautifully crafted ‘Design Dictionary’. Crossing the span of print and digital, this printed booklet is laden with strong visual references and simple guides to concepts like file types, colour, paper sizes, resolution, as well as digital & web mechanisms. Making the complicated simple, creative design saves the day yet again.
