The New Economics Foundation (NEF) is the UK’s leading think-tank promoting social, economic and environmental justice. NEF needed a leaflet design that would introduce local community currencies in line with the Community Currencies in Action project (CCIA). CCIA is an EU funded project working to develop and deliver community currency demonstrations.
Magnetic designed a leaflet and added Augmented Reality to allow readers to view introductory videos of each currency when scanned. There was also an option to go to a particular website to find out more about that specific currency. The leaflets were distributed at seminars and university panels, where they have been viewed by a variety of sources, such as academics, students and members of the EU parliament.
