And the 2014’s Best Art Vinyl Award goes to…

For the 10th consecutive year, Art Vinyl (https://artvinyl.com/) recognised the year's most creative and well-designed record cover. The 2014 Best Art Vinyl Award went to Royal Blood, with sleeve illustration by Dan Hillier, hand lettering by Harry Robbins and design by Richard Welland.
Hillier's design was inspired by his artwork Pachamama, which he developed following a visit to Peru, where he took part in a ceremony with shamans in the Amazon, according to Design Week.
Second place went to FKA twigs' LP1, featuring artwork by Jesse Kanda, while third place went to Future Islands' Singles, with cover art by Beth Hoeckel and design by Matt de Jong.
