DRYAD BRANDING —

Dryad are a start-up that design ultra-early wildfire detection software, with multiple operational complexities that need to be translated concisely throughout their comms. They deal with governments, NGOs and a raft of other stakeholders, all requiring their own approach. When we created the brand identity, it had to match the seriousness of their mission - without getting lost in the jargon.

The challenge

A cool brand for a warming World

After undergoing a rigorous research process and creating the internal messaging framework, we created a brand universe that spoke to both their mission and their audience. Through a bespoke animated explainer video, we succinctly summarised what Dryad do and how they’re helping to combat wildfires around the world. All of this was wrapped in a brand-new website that brought a balance between tech and environment. The Dryad brand is flexible enough to adapt to any touchpoints - digital or physical.

Dryad have gone on to successfully secure €8.9 million in funding and grants, across two rounds. Following the huge success with their initial product offering, the company will use the funds to scale its platform and develop its wildfire suppression project, an autonomous drone-based system designed to combat wildfires at their inception.
