SERVICES / COMMUNICATIONS STRATEGY
Communications strategy
We work with leadership, marketing and communications teams to decide what needs to be said, who it needs to reach and how the organisation should communicate it.
That might mean explaining a complex proposition, aligning different teams around one narrative, planning a launch or creating a communications framework that can be used across channels and markets.
What we help with
01
Communications audits and planning
Activity can accumulate without anyone stepping back to ask whether it is still doing the right job.
We review the current communications, audience evidence, channel performance and business priorities. From there, we establish what needs to change and give the work a clearer direction.
02
Audience and stakeholder strategy
Different audiences need different things from an organisation. Treating them all in the same way usually leads to messages that mean very little to anyone.
We identify the audiences that matter, what each needs to understand and where their priorities differ. This gives communications teams a practical basis for deciding what to say, where and when.
03
Messaging and narrative
A complicated organisation, product or idea needs a structure people can follow.
We develop narratives, message hierarchies, propositions and supporting points that help teams communicate consistently without making every piece of communication sound identical.
04
Proposition and launch communications
A new product, service, partnership or initiative needs a clear reason for people to care.
We shape how the proposition should be introduced, identify the messages needed at each stage and plan how communications should build before, during and after launch.
05
Campaign strategy
Campaigns work better when the role of the creative, channels and customer journey has been agreed before production begins.
We define the audience, objective, proposition, message and channel roles, then turn that direction into a campaign brief and plan that creative and delivery teams can use.
06
Channel and content planning
More channels do not automatically create better communication.
We decide what each channel needs to contribute, how messages should change across formats and where content effort will have the greatest value. The result is a workable plan rather than a list of everything the organisation could publish.
What the work can include
Depending on the brief:
Every engagement is structured around the communications decisions that need to be made.
We begin with the research, knowledge and existing work already available before recommending anything new.

Orascom Hotel Management - Turkish audience GO TO MARKET
Orascom Hotel Management needed to introduce El Gouna to Turkish audiences and build a clearer route from initial awareness to consideration.
We developed the Turkish go-to-market and communications approach, bringing together audience priorities, messaging, campaign planning, paid media, content and measurement.

Meta XR Academy
Meta was launching an academy with Koç University and the Turkish government to introduce young people to augmented and virtual reality.
We clarified the messaging, created the brand system and carried the communications across the launch experience, landing pages, CRM, social content and physical event materials. Following the initial launch in Türkiye, the work was adapted for three more European markets.
Selected communications strategy work
Comms strategy that reaches the real world
Magnetic combines communications strategy with brand, design, digital, content, campaigns and experiences.
The people shaping the direction work directly with the teams responsible for creating and delivering the response. That reduces repeated handovers and lets us test strategic decisions against the channels and situations where people will encounter them.
Magnetic has teams in London and Istanbul. Where communications need to work across countries, our Multi-market Localisation service establishes what should remain consistent and what needs to respond to local language, culture and audience behaviour.
